MISISIPI, de L. Malaĥ. Tradukis el la juda lingvo I. Jurysta. 64 p. Teatraĵo triakta. Aĉetebla ĉe Ch Kerber, 39, Av. Gambetta, Paris ,20.

Translated from the Yiddish [Jewish] language by I[cek] Jurysta. 64 p. Three-act play. Can be purchased from Ch Kerber, 39, Av. Gambetta, Paris ,20. Price: 10 French francs plus 10 [?] for postage.
Three-act play from Negro life, addressing the “Scottsboro case.” But the “case” itself of those eight young Negro men is only a crack through which one can glimpse the Negro tragedy in all its cruelty. Race-hatred is at least as old as hypocrisy.
On the stage Mississippi garnered considerable and deserved success. The Esperanto translation is very good.
