What makes virtually all progressive ideology bourgeois, is that words, concepts, and ideologies all circulate in capitalist society, varying in the degree in which they are circulated or suppressed, ignored or discussed, and are circulated and consumed as commodities themselves, which is the very thing about them that is never discussed, not to mention that the very nature of the capitalist system is not discussed, even where inequality of various sorts is discussed; and, even if the question of social class is discussed, even if it is discussed without being subordinated to race and/or gender (now via the fashionable pseudoconcept of intersectionality), what cannot be discussed is the impact of the capitalist system on the formulation, comprehension, and criticism of ideas, including progressive ideas.
